No, it would be Capello admitting he made mistake. Green should not have gotten the start in the first place. Green cost the team a crucial two points and should not play another game this tournament unless Hart gets injured.

Hart is the best on talent and form and its not even close, the only reason I could see for not playing him would ironically be fear of a blunder under pressure given his youth. I don't understand passing over the premier league team of the year keeper for a guy with the talent and stature of Robert Green, even James I could understand on experience. Green is Paul Robinson v2 - should be 3rd string.

Reina would be great but as someone who doesn't follow England closely I always wonder why they have never called Almunia?

He'll be a second half substitute for sure, especially if Italy are still looking for a goal at that point.

Santa Cruz injured again? I thought he was healthy. I love Di Rossi and Montolivo in the centre for Italy, great engine room. I am going to see Fiorentina play in August and I am hoping for some magic out of Montolivo. Hopefully he can step into Pirlo's shoes and we can see some goals.

Come on Paraguay! Two Sunderland players, Da Silva and Riveros in the line up for them, plus I just don't like Italy. Sucks that Santa Cruz is out though..

Worked until 1. Came home and finished a story. Bummed around online until 3, when I decided to stay awake all night. Caught Denmark/Holland in its entirety. Caught the first 20 minutes of Japan/Cameroon, decided that sleep was more important. 4 hour power-nap, now up for the game I really wanted to see.
WIN.

yeah, he got a boot in the shin, but I admit I still laughed my ass off when I saw an Italian rolling on the ground clutching his leg a minute into the game.

It looked pretty painful. People should at least wait for the replay before calling the guy a diver.

Good to see the Ref not bite and tell him to get up.

He slid in cleats up. It was a dangerous tackle that deserved to be carded.

I didn't call him a diver and admitted that he got the boot in the shin. Regardless, it was still funny to see an Italian rolling around.

The Canucks must be jizzing all over the place with diving queens Italy playing right now.
What is the over/under on the stretcher runs for italian players? 5.5?

It wasn't a dive but I don't think it deserved a card.

De Rossi with an absolutely gorgeous dive. I give it a 9/10. Perfect flop, followed by completely outrageous post-flop dramatics.

Luongo and Burrows must be so jealous. They can't touch that talent.
