It's CBC!

Give the pregame, postgame and halftime to the guys on the score. They're goofy but at least they know what they're talking about.

Argentina beats Nigeria 1-0, Heinze scored the only goal in the 6th minute. This was an entertaining game, lots of chances mostly Argentina but Nigeria had a couple of good chances as well, especially in the last 10 minutes.

Feel bad for Messi though, he just couldn't finish today. You could see how frustrated he was. He doesn't have much luck playing for Argentina as he does when he plays for Barcelona. Lack of composure all day, created a lot of chances but when it came to finish... I think it's because there is too much pressure on him. He's expected to carry the team all by himself and score at free will. Fans are on his back because they think he doesn't give damn for Argentina which I don't think is fair because he has a different role.

They're these special african horns. If I was there, I think I would take it from someone and bash them in the head with it. Annoying as hell...

Green in goal, Milner to start on the left side in place of Cole are the latest rumours.

USA vs England in a little bit, very excited for this match. I'm predicting a 1-1 draw.

Default Argentina looked a bit rusty

I wonder if the Argentinians had practiced much in SA with the new ball prior to the game, they seemed to be too strong(maybe the altitude as well) on a lot of passes in the first half.

To me it looked like a warm-up game for them and i could see a few lineup changes coming in the second game and an improvement in touch around the goal. Perhaps Milito may start.

I like the way Higuain holds up the ball he seems very good at that, I have never seen him play before.

It wasn't just the Argentinians. A lot of players seem to be having trouble judging their crosses and volleys. Maybe there was something to the complaints about the new ball.

I like the bee horns alot
Actually if you remember any of the World Cups in Mexico, they had similar types or horns too. Not as loud though.

Here's a potential talking point for tonight: can the England fans become the first set of supporters at the World Cup to drown out the sound of the vuvuzelas? If they can't, surely no-one can.
please do

like the american lineup from an English perspective, at a 4-4-2 they are going for it, Landy Cakes doesn't track back either so Milner should have tons of space

I hate to bring up the horns again, but they're pretty much completely killing the atmosphere that is typically present at an England game. I'm officially in the "they're annoying" camp now.

Uh-oh.

Poor Green. That error just may have cost him his place in the starting XI.

Heskey anyone?
