At least in the second one he did pull. But pulling the top of the bit that broke of rotated it, which pushed its bottom out which knocked over the bottom piece. Still, not the way you want to do things.

Can you imagine being the dude in the grey car stopped at the light when the wall crashes down? Hello, ruined underwear.

I walked over and watched them taking down the Curtis Block on the corner of Macleod and 12th Avenue a couple of years ago (July 2008). The same situation could have occured there but they knew what they were doing and the building came down no problem.

That music is awesome. It's like the Jaws of wall collapses.

I worked construction for a couple years. I did only a handful of demo jobs but sat in my truck (dump truck) most of the time. It was sweet when the boss told me to go to town on a building with a dozer. It's like ever little boys dream. Just flat out demolish the building.

With enough safety precautions in place, I could actually see someone paying for the opportunity. Give me a big piece of machinery, an empty concrete structure, and instructions to take it down, wow, that sounds like a lot of fun. I played with Tonka toys as a kid, to do the real thing for a day or two sounds like fun to me.

LOL, what an amazing world, I had to look about 5 times but I believe I have a lot of fun in the room behind behind window #1 on the far left circa 1991...she was a music teacher if my memory serves me correct!

hey, last year when we demo-ed a building all 7 walls fell out onto the street... this year, i kept it under 7 so i'd say an improvement was made

LOL, you can see him start to drive away. It was as if he was getting the hell out of there.

That building collapsed faster than Luongo vs Chicago...

Put that wall in net. I'm sure it won't give up 7 goals to Chicago.

In every other sense, it's the same as Luongo.
