Are those horns going to be a fixture at every game, even non RSA games?

I only watched a little bit of the first game before I had to go to work and those horns were driving me insane.

On the CBC feed if your pictures gets blurry, just pound on the Forward ("Go Live") button, it clears it up.

If they can`t get a capacity a capacity crowd for the opening featuring the home team, I fear some games (Algeria-Slovenia, anyone) will be embarrassing crowd-wise.

At far as dull first matches usually go, this one has been really good!

It's done. 1-1 tie. Great first match, lots of action. Hope this is a sign of things to come.

Good game. 1-1 is a good result for both teams especially since I have both of them moving on...

Great first match, and even though it hasn't really been mentioned this is gonna be a tough group.

Mexico seems to be in pretty good form, France has the potential to be great, Uruguay is underated, and the hosts have never not made it out of the group stage in a World Cup.

Really, really fun first game. Definitely worth getting up at 7 to watch.

Well when the most popular sport in RSA for anyone who can afford those tickets is Rugby and not soccer, I'm not surprised there may be some problems in the less marquee match-ups
