Also, I am not bitter. I am having a conversation about the topic. Why do people think I am bitter or upset at times. I rarely get upset. Should I put a smiley face on my posts?

Well, so far in this thread you've called him a moron, insinuated without a shadow of a doubt that you work harder than he does and therefore is more deserving (somehow) of being more rich and famous, berated Locke for simply making a funny joke well within the standard CP memes, and now come out and accused the entire board of 'not understanding you' like an emo kid, then insulted all of us with the overly condescending smiley-face comment.

I did not say I work harder than anybody. I did not say I am more deserving.
Locke was not attempting a joke.
I did not accuse the 'entire board' of not understanding me. I was saying that I have been told a few times that I should calm down. I am calm.
My smiley-face is not about being condescending. It is about showing my mood when I am having a conversation. If you were here in person you would know by my body language that I am just talking. That I am calm and just talking.

Nobody can hear you. Try typing instead.
Also, isn't talking to yourself one of the signs of mental illness?

Just a casual observation on your comment, but realistically, he knows the same amount about you as you do about Prince Chucky. So really, his comment has about as much weight as your comment about Chucky never having to work a day in his life. They're both assumptions based on the commenter's own perceptions.

I thought I made myself more clear. I said he never HAD to work a day in his life. I never said he was lazy or didn't know how to tie his own shoes. I didn't accuse him of anything but not having a proper perspective because he didn't have to work to feed his family. etc.
Considering Chucky is a public figure we do know a little more about him than me.
It was like a few years ago when Chucky made critical comments about the architecture of London. He didn't have the proper perspective to make those comments either.

He says lots of things, the reason its newsworthy is he holds a position of power with an ability to reach many people with his usually silly words.
In fact he spearheaded an alternative medicine thing in their health care system which a great deal of money was spent on things like homeopathy and other such utter nonsense. Also at a time when there was a shortage of nurses, they figured the money they spent on this crap could have hired many hundreds of nurses for years to come.
But thats what he does, he's almost anti science, he's a big fan of alternative and unproven crap... Wouldn't be so bad if he was just some random guy but he's the next king of England.
Speaking personally as someone concerned about the growing alternative medicine and distrust in medical/mainstream science; this is yet another moron we have to spend time in disproving and correcting every time he speaks.
I mean we need a break, Oprah, Jenny McCarthy are a handful already!

Have you ever travelled anywhere? That monarchy built the centre of the caucasian culture, and then gave us Canada, too.

Personally, I am insulted because at all times I engage in soulful consumerism. My deep and meaningful relationship with my harem of electronic gizmos is obviously beyond Charles; I only hope that one day he finds true love as I have.

I'd say the Royal's do work in terms of various awareness and fundraising campaigns . . . . . but it seems counterproductive since it seems to cost British taxpayers tens of millions of dollars annually for the privilege.
Prince Charles did serve in the Royal Navy so you can't say he never worked a day in his life . . . . . he did work several days or even several years.
As the story noted however, the greatest push in population explosion generally occurs among the poorest, least consumptive people on the planet on the perfectly logical premise that more kids equals a greater support buffer in old age . . . . while the wealthiest, most consumptive societies actually produce the least offspring.
Personally, I don't want him as my univeral overlord and King. I would hope, your worshipfulness Betty, that you will do the right thing and skip a generation.

This from a guy who lives in castles and travels in luxury because he happened to be born in the right family.
Why do we still have a monarchy? Isn't everyone equal?

The science crowd on this board ain't into skepticism that much if it involves being skeptical of their own world-view.
Prince Charles is an idiot, but skeptics of modernity, like George Grant, really aren't. There is something to be said for the degradation of humankind through the "technologization" of human life.
