I suppose you also don't use the skill stick, what with having to adapt your game to a game mechanic.
Still use the A button to shoot?

Really? You're going to insult me because you're reading comprehension skills aren't up to par?
Let me re-iterate. "You shouldn't need to adapt to a
stupid game mechanic."
I mention it is "stupid" because it is unrealistic and unfair.
But then again insult me rather than Jayems who originally brought it up.

The devs understand it's unrealistic and is something they will get to addressing. But it's the way it is for now to avoid making the slot one timers be more over effective then it is already, and the community putting them on a stake moreso.

At least they introduced that vision control (left trigger I believe), it helps a lot with shooting rather than taking penalties.

Norm!
This game will only be cool if you can pick up a broken stick and ram it through Alex Burrows chest.

Looks sweet! It's the jumping that bothers me most. I'm worried it will be over used and unrealistic.

yeah, i am not sure how it will go. they did great with the scoring from your knees feature and not occurring too often. however, with board play, people quickly realized that for online play they could board play themselves which was an unintended consequence.
i hope the ability to jump will cause people to dive a lot less. then hopefully will become a rarely used feature like the knees goal. though i can only imagine the ways people could exploit it.

always with the water bottle off the net on the score, it's the EA "look what we can do" thing since like nhl 99 ... now that has been overdone
looks good though, can't wait, kind of tired of nhl10 now.

If you watch that video enough, you'll see that there are now disallowed goals.
Nice...as long as it doesn't suck.
EDIT - This looks like a fairly legit video (Except for one Ovechkin excerpt from NHL 10):
VIDEO
Scoreboard in the the top left (0:36) has changed.

Interesting most of the gossip I'd read was saying it was going to be Miller......guess not much can be said for Toews, Stanley Cup, Conn Smythe, Gold Medal

Only reason he shouldn't be on the cover is because they had a Blackhawk on the cover last year and i doubt they'd go back to back

My vote will always be for Crosby until he is on, but Toews would be a good choice, as would M.Richards, Doughty, Miller, etc.

I'm hoping for Crosby in a Team Canada jersey...but there's zero chance of that happening.
