I'm more offended by the people looking after the three week old and your self-righteous attitude than a few harmless jokes.
But you seem to enjoy the drama so go ahead and scold all of the people who don't share your same sensibilities. It reflects more upon you then upon them.

Yes, my same sensibilities as a human being. You have none. So then you get it all confused and think I am trying to create drama. You have no heart.

There is no room for jokes concerning the tragic and violent death of a new born.

That must be a pretty big dog. I love babies but I have never been able to finish a whole one.

What a dog mauling a baby might look like:
Terrible story. Unbelievable to think that the police have enough evidence to arrest momma and grandmomma.

I have no heart? You're living in quite the black and white world that you've created for yourself. Anyone who doesn't share your opinion on things has no sensibilities and no heart. Just because you find something offensive doesn't mean that you have the right to dictate on this site that it is. If you want that ability, go create your own discussion forum and then you can be the drama king of that castle!

Does that mean you're going to stop sending me your lovely private messages that are barely readable because you haven't figured out that CP removes your profanities? Oh, whatever will I do.

Reading this makes me mad. Are they going to put the dogs down?
The baby was in "a car seat" for an infant on the floor of a home with the two dogs when she was attacked, he added. The dogs did not belong to the mother or the grandmother. They belong to a young couple who also lived there but who were not home."The mother and the grandmother were inside the house with the two dogs and the baby and then (the two women) decided to step outside," McInnis said. "They were gone for some time, longer than they expected. When they came back inside the baby had been attacked and she was dead."
McInnis said there was no chance to save the child. "It was an obvious death."

LOL. Who wants to start a pool on how long it takes JAG to put the entire site on ignore? I'd also really appreciate it if you could take time in your posts to acknowledge the posters you've put on ignore, as well as sending each of us a PM that tells us to go f ourselves.
Anyways, back on topic. Awful tragedy. I really think there needs to be some kind of screening process in place for people who want to own dogs. My old boss breeds bull mastiffs and you should see the hoops she makes people jump through before they're allowed to purchase a dog from her.

Very sad story. I never leave my dog unattended with any babies or children. In fact, when I let the neighbourhood kids pet her, I've got a firm grip on her collar.
I wonder if the owners of the dogs were ok with these people just letting their dogs out? I would be royally pissed if my dog was let out by a landlord and was lost or attacked someone.

Oh I agree. In my utopia, you're to be immediately sterilized if your IQ isn't of an acceptable level.

I think there was a part in one of Cesar Milan's books about why you can never leave a dog with a kid ... (paraphrasing) "Remember: getting a dog means you are willingly allowing a carnivorous wild animal to live with your family". Made me laugh the first time I heard it, but you have to adopt that viewpoint if you're going to get a dog.

RIP.
We probably shouldn't generalize this one case to all breeds of the same dog.

I didn't even leave my newborn alone with my cat. I doubt you will find a dog trainer that would feel comfortable leaving their own trained dog alone with a baby.

I don't find fault with the dog at all. It all rests on the parents for leaving their baby alone. Too bad the dog will probably be put down.
