The Rogan podcast was gold. I avoided listening to that one for a while because I'm not a Joe Rogan fan, but holy crap was it funny.

Thanks to the guy who made this thread, glad I checked it out.

I think "thanks" expire after 3 weeks*. Glad you guys enjoy it.
on a side note, did anyone listen to Penn Radio (Penn Jillette of Penn & Teller) when it was on? That was also a great show, only lasted a year.
I hope Adam gets Penn on the podcast one of these days.
* ...and you can thank me now

my favorite episode so far has been the latest with Harlan Williams when Adam goes OFF about torture and waterboarding. I love it when Carolla goes nuts for no reason. I was laughing my ass off!

I just listened to this episode today. He was being serious right? I usually like his rants, but that one was a little over the top.

great interview with Rowdy Roddy Piper. worth a listen, especially if you are/were into wrestling.

I wish he had Jim Jeffries on more. Guy is awesome. Deaf Frat Guy is definitely missed, and I wish he didn't move away.
One person I'm really looking forward to Adam bringing in at sometime is Brian Regan. Such a great comedian, and doesn't swear once.

Just curious if anyone here is buying the $2.99 live shows?
I grabbed both of them so far, too good to pass up.

i only got the one for Bald Bryan. personally, i like the sit down interview shows more. the live shows seem like he is trying to hard to impress the audience.
are the $2.99 live shows a lot better than the free live show? worth it?

I forgot about the Bald Bryan benefit show, also bought that one.
Wouldn't say that the pay shows are better, usally just the 2nd half of the Improv sets. But definitely worth it if you're a fan.

Adam has a deal going on for hardcopies of his whole first year podcast. Every single one of his podcasts will be on a 2 disc set in high definition, compiled by Giovanni, the superfan. Over 270 HOURS of podcast glee for only $39.99. If you order before the end of Sunday, you'll get free shipping and Adam will sign your copy as well.
A steal of a deal IMO, as he brings the laughs consistently. Don't know if the Bald Brian benefit shows will be on it or not, but... still, one hell of a deal from the Aceman.

I haven't bought any yet but I will. I have been a consistent listener for a long time now and it is worth a little money to keep the podcasts coming.

Adam Carolla's podcast has recently changed formats slightly. Billed as the old and improved podcast, the show is much more reminiscent of his old radio show. Teresa Strasser is back with the news and Bald Bryan is doing his thing with the drops again. They also brought back old bits like Blah Blah Blog, Totally Topical Tivo Trivia and What Can't Adam Complain About.
They're only about a week into the old/new show so there are still a few kinks to work out. So far, so good.
I'm really curious how much these guys are actually making from the show. Adam decided to go full speed ahead with the old/new show after his latest pilot was not picked up (can't remember if it was CBS or NBC that rejected him this time).

It was NBC that turned this one down.
As for the re-birth of the podcast, I love it! The last year had been wearing thin, and definitely needed a little pick-me-up.
I was a daily listener of the old radio show, so I am so happy to have that format back.

I have no idea what song they played at the start of the old radio show, but when I heard those first few notes again before the old/new show it moved a little.

I've enjoyed the change as well, and I agree that it will get better as the kinks get worked out.
I've also enjoyed a couple of the side podcasts being done by Carolla, particularly Spider and the Henchman and The Parent Experiment (although Adam's wife, Lynette, has a tough voice to take).

These are the only two I DON'T listen to. I do like Daves of Thunder and The Film Vault, though.

I stop listening after the whole Manny Pacquiao / Philippines rant.
That was completely unnecessary.
