2nd game in a row they had the lead in the 9th and couldn't hold on. Stings a bit.
Need another comeback in the bottom of the 9th. Too bad, could have swept the Rays.

They need to shake this series off because it could really weigh on their shoulders that they had leads going into the ninth in all three games.
1 out of 3 probably wouldn't be a terrible outcome otherwise against such a good team but they way they have lost is pretty back-breaking.

I didn't say anything!
Hope it didn't start something bad either. Growing pains for a young team.

It's funny how our BP was considered a strength. It has cost us now a handfull of games against their biggest competition.
I don't know why clarence didn't put in Gregg. Sure he blew the last save opportunity, but if he's your guy, then you ride him out.
I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but the history repeats its self once again, the rays come back with a huge late game rally. FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...........

10 runs against in the 9th inning over the past two games. Ugly stat. Really hope they just put it behind them and concentrate on beating the Yanks.

I can't blame Cito for this one. Marcum was pitching good enough to pitch the 9th, rather than bringing in a relatively cold arm. What I will say though is this should be a lesson in not overusing the relievers in other games because games like this are heartbreakers.

This is where Tuesdays mismanagement compounds and makes the next day a loss. If Cito could have closed out the game on Tuesday with a guy like Frasor, than he has Gregg rested to come in last night when the first two guys get on base. Instead he sticks with Marcum when he doesn't have it anymore and makes a great start by Marcum into a brutal loss.

Bautista hits a bomb into left field to give the Jays a 1-0 lead after 2. It's his 17th of the year.

Yeah, what a pleasant surprise. An almost identical pitch with a pretty much identical result. I think the Yanks will stay away from pitching to him inside for the rest of the night.

Man, it's amazing seeing the Jays come out on the +++ end of a trade unlike so many others in the past ... Werth, Young, etc.

EE hits one out for a 4-0 lead. I remain almost stunned at how much power this team has showed so far this season. It's pretty unreal.
AJ has left his pitch in the exact same spot on all 3 home runs.

6-1 Final. Frasor comes into the game in the 9th, walks the 1st batter he sees, but closes it out after that. Awesome game by Cecil.
If anything it's good for the mental state of the team.......get a big lead, hold onto it and shut it down in the 9th. Good stuff.

Those Tampa losses still sting a bit though. Tampa's so over-rated, should have swept them.
Jays need to have a good series here and take that confidence into the series in Tampa.
