LIMA, Peru (AP) — A young Dutchman previously arrested in the 2005 disappearance of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway is the prime suspect in a weekend murder of a Peruvian woman, police said Wednesday.
Joran van der Sloot is being sought in the Sunday killing of 21-year-old Stephany Flores in a Lima hotel, Criminal police chief Gen. Cesar Guardia told a news conference. He said the suspect fled the country the next day by land to Chile.
The Dutch government said Interpol has issued an international arrest warrant for Van der Sloot.
Guardia said the 22-year-old Dutchman, who was in the country for a poker tournament, appears with the young woman in a video taken at a Lima casino early Sunday.
So I'm sure this was just a coincidence that he likes to hang out with woman that end up getting murdered.
I remember a CBC documentary on this, maybe fifth estate, and back then with the first case it was pretty clear he and/or the other dude were guilty as sin.
Sad another girl has to die for this spoiled rich kid punk to be put behind bars, I hope lots of large men make him his boy toy for decades to come.

Yeah and two years ago, a private investigator got him to admit, on tape, that she collapsed on the beach, and he had some friends dump her in the sea.
I'm already sick of the inevitable media circus that will go on and on and on. It sickens me that the media has the gall to prostitute this young blond victim for ratings.... again!

Thats the media's job though. A hot blonde being murdered brings ratings, unfortunately.

And Chile has now handed him back to authorities in Peru.
Quote:
The Chileans drove Van der Sloot across the border to a Peruvian police station, where dozens of people awaited his arrival. Police set up a perimeter to keep the crowd away from the suspect as he walked about 100 feet from the car to the station, but the protesters were angry and pushed forward.
Police kept them away from van der Sloot but could not stop the loud and steady rain of obscenities they shouted. He was taken inside the station for processing. From there, he is to be taken to the nearby town of Tanca and then flown to Lima.
Looks like there's quite a bit of evidence against him.............she was found in his room, people saw them go in there together, video of them in the casino.
