Help me kill time in Lethbridge
Alright fellow CP'ers, particularly our friends from land of Bridge, heres the deal.
I'm in Lethbridge this weekend coaching a soccer tournament. Obviously, I'm just a volunteer so none of these Goblins belong to me. They are also young, and as such their parents or whoever is responsible for looking after them are going to be busy with all that crap. Its too bad, the other team I coach is full of parents who have known me for a few years and we could go get beers, such is not an option in this case.
The crux of the matter is this: I'm stuck in Lethbridge with a bunch of kids, what the hell can I do when I'm not coaching soccer?

Just to clarify, do you need stuff to do by yourself, or for a group of kids?

By myself. They'll be entertained by each other and most likely, shiny objects.

Honestly, unless you're into the Galt Museum or Fort Whoop Up, their isn't much. Other than going to a movie or something.
In related news I'll be there this coming weekend as well.

Drink. Often.
I suggest the Duke of Nottingham pub (by the university), it might not be as good a pub when school is not in but couldn't hurt to try.

They do have a reasonably nice casino. Otherwise, it's a horrible, horrible place with nary a decent place to eat... Bring or find a woman.

Wellington. I second this. Average Joe's Sports Bar can be good too. On the touristy, non-nightlife angle, Japanese Gardens. I'd imagine you would be busy during the day though.

I think you have to ask yourself this - if a woman won't go to Lethbridge for you, is she really the kind of woman you want to be with? Yes, it's unpleasant, but isn't love more important?
