Not going to lie... This game kind of disappointed in me... Find myself getting bored of it...very fast.. It seems like I'm doing the samething over and over again... For example... Tumbleweeds - Save the girl from being Hung... then next moment I'm back at Tumbleweed saving the Sheriff...... same building.. just shooting a bunch of guys again....
Anyone else find this... I'm hoping the game gets better.. the father you get into it.
Well... honestly I find there is much more to the game than just the hideouts. I usually only do each hideout once. I imagine it would get pretty repetitive if you just kept doing each gang hideout repeatedly.
Go hunting! Play some poker... find treasure, beat someone at horseshoes... dominate at blackjack or armwrestling or five-finger fillet! Get killed in a duel or mauled by a bear or cougar. Kill some bandits, kidnap a prostitute or just get drunk!
I actually find many of the story missions are good and entertaining.
I just flipped to this to check it out and then realized, What the hell am I doing? It's going to give away half of the story. Weird that they would do this.

Yeah fortunately I had just completed the Fort Mercer scene earlier today, so none of it was new. They did have it play out slightly differently on TV than in the game.
This game is so much fun, I'm not much of a gamer other than sports stuff, but I am hopelessly addicted. I attempted multiplayer for the first time yesterday, and was shot dead every 5 seconds, any tips to make that experience tolerable?

Just whistle for your horse and get the hell out of dodge. Once you do that, you can start a posse and raid gang hideouts. Or just do the hideouts yourself. I find it pretty fun trying to run them solo too.

Or go into one of those mix bag games they have. The group shootout is fun and most of the games are pretty good too. Takes a bit of getting used to though.
Every time I attempt to join "you have lost connection due to issues with another player".
EVERY TIME.
And for every other game I own, multi works.
I was really surprised with how well the multiplayer works, very little glitching. GTA was a glitchfest but then again there were cars flying around and rocket launchers going off, so maybe there is just less going on in this game.
Got my ps3 copy this weekend at BestBuy in Deerfoot Meadows- looked like they had a lot of copies, not sure about xbox360 though.
Played it yesterday for the first time, and this morning. Looks like fun so far, although I have yet to figure half of the gameplay out. One thing I find disappointing is that I keep pressing X and I pass the cut-scenes. Then it goes back to game mode, and although it tells me what to do, I miss the dialogue. That's a part of the game I don't want to miss!

You can re-watch that if you miss it but you have to complete the mission first. Just go to the start menu and go to 'STATS' then 'Missions'. Go to that mission and you can see it all again. Make sure you save first though because it will exit the game you are currently in.
You can also re-play any mission using this method.
How does voice chat work in the game? I just recently picked up a headset, so once I get over the embarassment of having done that, i'm hoping to use it in game
