Kisio has to be considered for a NHL job at some point down the road. His record of success with the Hitmen is unbelievable in a league where there is always turnover and lots of it.
Most teams go through cycles of strong years and weak years but every year is a strong one with Kelly. Kudos to him.

You'd think that with the continued success he's had here, he would have been offered an NHL job already. Maybe he just doesn't want to go...yet?
Moncton wins tonight, completing the Memorial Cup foursome. Unlike last year, the Q looks to be decently represented - Brandon might just be the underdog.

Very cool feature on the WHL website.. they had referee Devin Klein mic'd up for a Hitmen/Rebels game. I always like hearing what goes on at ice-level.
Matt MacKenzie of the Hitmen is listed as the 74th best draft eligible skater in NA by Central Scouting for this years draft. Would anyone else be extremely excited to see the Flames snag him with the 64th or 73rd overall pick? I thought he showed a ton of progression towards the end of the season and with a couple more years of junior should morph into an extremely good rearguard.
Mackenzie is the type of player who does everything well, but not anything spectacularly. He likely won't be a top-4 defenseman in the NHL but works hard and could be a rock-solid No. 5 guy who you never notice on the ice because he's doing a good job and not getting your team into trouble.
