never ceases to amaze me how these guys can whip up these scams, but they can't find anyone with half a brain to write the e-mails using proper sentence construction, grammer and punctuation.

makes me wonder how anyone can fall for these.

The horrible grammar and spelling makes people assume that they are smarter than the person writing the letter/email and as such the claims that they make seem to be that much more likely to be legitimate (he/she is stupid so I can take advantage of them)...

This is a scam! I received this exact email about 5 or 6 months ago and sent him the $100, and I never heard back. So I tried to send another $100 and the account he wanted me to send to was closed. So I emailed him a few times until I finally got a response. He gave me a new account to send the money to, but this time I had to send $1500 because I was told the fedex fee had increased at customs or something. So after I sent more money I got another email from the FBI advising me that the package has now been cleared and now all that's needed was another $3500 for brokerages fees. So I'm now in for $5100 and I still to this day have not received the package. I tell you this much. I am not paying another red cent until I get this mastercard.

Well, it's obviously a scam since we all know women can't be doctors.

^ Sounds like you just got unlucky. I sent in my $100 and I got my $15,000 mastercard the following week. I am writing this post on a yacht.

See, this is what I don't get. All you send is $100 and your golden, I send $5100, and I'm sitting on my hands waiting. I wonder where all these cards are coming from. Atleast now I know it's legit. I think I just got another email advising that my card is ready to be delivered, just the driver needs a $6500 retainer to bring it to me. I wasn't going to send, but now that I know Rifleman got his card, I may as well send it.

Sent! Fingers crossed. I had to max out my creditcards to get the last $6500.

Times are that tough in the states that the FBI has to branch out and get into the shipping and logistics business?

what next, Navy Seals and Delta doing mall security? Obama and Biden selling 50/50 tickets at NFL games?
