Bret has stated that tonight was his last night. so this was a really nice way for him to finish. The U.S. title will probably be vacated and they'll have a tournament, and I bet Bryan Danielson walks away with the title.
This opens the way for a feud between the Hart Dynasty and Jericho and Miz.
Its no secret, Miz has often said that he is a big fan of the hitman, the fact that he was willing to put Hart over is a pretty classy move.
It was nice to see the Hitman locking the sharpshooter on one last time.

It's rather petty, but it's always bothered me that he wears a #15 jersey with his name on it. When I see a Hitmen #15 jersey I'm thinking he's wearing one of the boys jersey's (specifically Kris Beech), not just his own name. Either the Hitmen (team) need to make that number unavailable or give Bret a number not used by a player.

Pretty sure it's for the 15th anniversary of the team.

People like you are the reason I dread coming into a thread that has anything to do with wrestling Sly..at least you didnt try to inform us that wrestling is fake.

Having said that, while it's awesome he got one more moment, Bret Hart made this run irrelevant by sticking around past Wrestlemania. The interaction between him and the Hart Dynasty should have happened before Mania, not after, which would have set up a bigger tag team match at the biggest PPV of the year, not some RAW a month later.
I'm a huge Bret Hart fan, but this last few weeks have shown that he's not the same guy, and yet, can beat a guy who has the brightest future in the company than anyone else in The Miz? Yeah, I get it, it's fake, but try to make it as realistic as possible.
I lost my mind when I watched him return to the WWE ring, but right now... he's outlasted his welcome as far as I'm concerned.

You know what I really really liked?
I liked the genuine joy in the faces of Natie, T.J Wilson and David Smith. Even though the Hart family has been fractured, its nice to see that Bret had a chance to celebrate with family.
I like the fact that the Miz has said in interviews that he was a big Hitman fan, On Bret's first night back after Raw when the wrestlers came out to hoist the Hitman on their shoulders, there was Miz with a huge smile on his face. I'm sure it was a thrill to be in a angle with the Hitman.
I'm sure that Jericho got a huge kick out of his promo work against the Hitman, and I bet that any Canadian got goosebumps over the loud ovation for Bret when we heard the iconic guitar rif at the start of his song.
Bret mentioned that last night was the end of the line for him in the WWE, but I'm sure that he'll show up on Smackdown which is the last Canadian date and give up the title.
Sure, Bret can't really do much in the ring, with his condition its just too risky, but it was good to see the Sharpshooter one last time, it was nice to hear the crowd chanting Bret's name.
I get it, Wrestling is fake, and as the Hitman says its an art form, but while last night wasn't really artistic in anyway, it was a nice way for Bret Hart to finally put the Hitman character to rest.

What the hell ever happened to Teddy Hart? I knew Teddy, Harry, and TJ about 9 years ago and Teddy always used to brag that he had a deal with the WWE that was going to pay him a million bucks. Flash forward and it looks like he's the only one of the three not involved.
