We had our friends hockey pool last night. Early I know, but it was sure good to get to pick a pool again. After my buddy takes Forsberg with the first overall pick (this guy loses every year). I bet him a case of beer Iginla would beat him in points this year.

If it was based on goals you would have it. But with the Flames powerplay and Forsberg on the Flyers, i can't really see Iggy beating him in points.
That said i hope the Flyers pull a Rangers act and choke like hell.

I dunno about that. This will be the first time Iggy gets to play with real talent. He doesn't have to make a 3rd liner into a first line center this year. He doesn't have 8 and 17 goals playing along side him. He has a bona-fied PP QB. In my eyes, it's a toss up. Iggy is younger, stronger, and has more to prove than Forsberg.
