Truth be told I still don't really understand how the league works. Particularly the PIMs part. Is my team good or not?
|
Basically you play head to head against another team for a week. Your goal is to win as many categories as possible. So who evers team has the most goals that week, wins the goals categories. So for PIM's, you want more pim's then the other team. You only want "less" then the other team in GAA and losses. So at the end of the week you have a score based on the number of categories you lost or won, like 7-5.
Hope this clears things up.

I'm somewhat happy with my team. Although Suave's team has MANY players I intended to draft. I will avenge myself by beating his ass.

Well you get a late Christmas present then, since we go at it starting Dec.26.
Hope you find a way to improve your team by then or else it isn’t going to be pretty!

i think people just vote if they think the trade is overly unfair.

The voting thing is weird no? If someone takes another GM on a great deal it should be allowed. Buyer beware. Is it possible to remove that feature from the league?

It prevents teams near the end of the season from just doing a complete fire sale. I'm fine with it.

Yup, if you are out of a playoff spot, or just want to help someone win, that's why the voting system is there.
Don't want to see any trades like Iginla for Fata.....
Not sure what the rush is to get Guerin on your team, season hasn't even started?

I'm not one to help an opponent, but fr14 - maybe you should add players to your active roster? you'd be in a much better position

I think this was brought up during baseball. If they are playing I have them on my active roster. If not they are on the bench. Just easier for me.

Limit is 20. (You didn't know what it was in the first post, I'm too lazy to read all the others)
It's quite a good league, I'm in one with 9 friends, and in 4th (and goin up!). We're playing on rottiserie (sp?), which, I would say, is second best to doing head to head with JUST points.
