This is gonna be an amazing series.

Thrashers lose 7-6 in OT and were outshot 54-51. We've proven we can score all playoffs but our defense really needs to step it up. Down 1-0 in the series and we are looking to get a split in Montreal in game 2.

Wow, even in regulation shots were 51-50...apparently both teams just didn't bother dressing their d-men. The forwards were definitely there though and Rick Nash continues to shine as he has a 6pt night (2g, 4a). The 1st line was very good tonight, and Selanne had his biggest contribution of the playoffs so far with a 3a evening.

I think both teams would like to see the shot total less next game but we'll see what happens. We got the win and that's the most important thing.

Wow, double OT. We outshot the Americans 41-23 but went 0 for 6 on the PP. Hopefully I can get that going a bit.
