I wanted the Kootenay Ice to get the WHL title this year, but Calgary was my second pick. Congrats to them.

Awesome game, great playoffs to watch, and so affordable compared to the Flames. Definately considering season tickets next year!

As far as prospects go, how long until Kelly Kisio gets a look for an NHL job? Two WHL titles now, never missed the playoffs under his watch, and he's found/developed a ton of kids who are now in the NHL: Getzlaf, Ladd, Alzner, Carson, Galliardi, Pettinger, Plante, Schultz, Sjostrom, White, Stuart (kind of).

Stuart certainly counts in that list. Trading Donald Choukalos for Stuart was one of the biggest fleece jobs in WHL history. His injury was what lost the Hitmen the 1999 Mem. Cup

Yeah, Lance freaking Galbraith. Nothing scrub who's only claim to fame was elbowing the CHL's best defenceman out of the Memorial Cup.

Sucks that Ottawa benefitted so much from a cheap shot.

If I wasn't convinced that Sutter will be here until the fans threaten to burn down the dome, Kisio would be the first guy on my list for replacement GM. It's actually kind of remarkable when you look at what he's done with the Hitmen and he seems to one-up himself every year.

And to think we had them down 3-1! Congrats to Calgary, should be a good Mem cup. That team is solid and they don't get rattled by being down. Good on Broda, the Warriors sure missed him.

I'm still mad about that! If Stuart plays the Hitmen win Memorial Cup no doubt in my mind.

It was a great evening at the Dome. My husband is even more pleased today as I seem to have lost my voice from my excessive cheering last night!
