Sure about that? Unless there's some serious skewing because of a lack of curvature, it doesn't seem to be.

Then it's another issue, to American's I first tried "about 200 miles straight north of Billings, Montana" after I see the confusion on their face I just say screw it and say 600 miles west of Seattle...I'm still amazed.

But in the end they all seem to have heard about the stampede.

Hartnell also lived in my hometown growing up before he moved to Lloyd. His Dad was my principal in Elementary school.

My city is mostly known for the Ronald Regan Library, but people still remember the first Rodney King/LAPD officers trial was held here. We were regularly targetted, four about 5 years after the trial, for racial violence every time there was a high profile trial that produced any sort of racial tension (even OJ's trial). Militant minority activists labelled us as a "white town" and had a grassroots effort going to burn our town in the next riot.
