Yeah. I always thought the expression "it can be seen from space" was a bit absurd in this day and age. Commercial imaging satellites have resolutions of less than 50 cms nowadays.
This dam is particularly big and Google Earth has also shown the beavers moving north because of climate change.
LOL, wut? Google Earth has been around for about five years, the beavers have migrated so far in that short time that you can see it on the crap-resolution Landsat imagery they use in unpopulated areas? Quite the logic leap for a scientit. Typo not unintentional.

'They create a habitat with lots of water like a moat around their lodges so they can swim and drive and keep one step ahead of predators such as coyotes and bears.
If they can drive, why not stay at a Holiday inn Lodge with a water slide? seems like a wasted effort to me.....
