I don't mind the colour commentator, but Dave Sheldon isn't as well liked by the public.

I was in Burger King the other day and Tom Mauthe and Justin McIntyre (CEO and Vice-President) were there. I overheard them saying that "Dave Sheldon is the best we've got". So, it's likely that quite a few people aren't liking Dave Sheldon. However, I have to say that I do appreciate the dedication and knowledge he has of the Heat. I just don't like his announcing.

The bulldogs score 1-1, but are on the PP now.

Since Wahl has stepped in, it sounds like he's been pretty good. With him, Nemisz, and Erixon, the future of the Flames looks much less bleaker than people here have been saying.

But Sutter drafted them. Obviously, the opposition is letting those goals in to make them feel better.

Wahl is almost a PPG in his limited time in the AHL. It is encouraging to see him adjust to the next level with such ease.

Attendance at 2,631 in Abbotsford tonight.

Not very good at all. Maybe scheduling the Vancouver games on different nights didn't mean anything?

Pelech must be a tough enough guy by the sounds of it. "I don't care how tough this guy thinks he is, Pelech is tougher". I like hearing that.

Hes ready for the NHL. IMO, hes better than Pardy and probably close to Sarich right now. Just needs the experience.

I wish they would trade Sarich and call him up. Guess time will tell.

*I shouldn't say I wish they would, seeing as I don't know much about Pelech. I just hope he's ready and can replace Sarich in a cheaper way.

Honestly, he's sounded ready for 1-2 years. It's just that the Flames have a massive logjam there.

Naw, MAYBE last year he was ready but not the year before IMO. His early injuries set him back a couple years.

hmm, Pelech is tough and composed. Nice that he has a head on his shoulders.
