2 things:

1. Its Philadelphia, that runner could have been any one of them.

2. Have you been to a baseball game lately? That was the entertainment, I'd be choked too.

I wish that they would start using the bean bag cannons or better yet a super soaker loaded with hot sauce.

What part of do not run on the field do people not get.

Hopefully they do the same at the Stamps games this summer.

I think that they should keep a standing staff of American Gladiators on hand in order to turn every runner into a pummel-a-thon.

Now that would spice up baseball!

Since it's mostly Rider Fans, they should throw some sort of post-secondary text book on the field when this happens. They wouldn't know what to do than and their head would explode.

The problem with guys running on playing fields is that they're unpredictable. Sure, he might just go for a jaunt and then casually leave under arrest. Or, he might dropkick Philadelphia's 800 Year Old manager right in the brain killing him instantly. Tough to tell.
Which is why they should deem what is necessary force. I should mention that I had seen the video before posting and to me that really didn't seem taser worthy

The problem with tackling a drunken idiot is that there is a greater chance of injury when you drive him into the ground. Then he hires a lawyer and sues for excessive violence.

Plus there's a better chance of the security guard or cop getting hurt doing it.

The quickest way to put a idiot like this down is to fry him.

So have uncontrollable idiots who break through barriers that they aren't allowed to.

He has no business being on that field, ever. So with such things come consequences. Ever since this incident, I have zero sympathy for anyone who jumps onto a field of play they have no right being on....

What's way awesome is when a fan runs around then gets absolutely pasted by security. I saw it happen a few times at a Stamps game. The crowd LOVED it.

Okay, fair enough.

Let me put this a different way, I commented before seeing the video, and what I can say with a degree of certainty is this:

That kid could have run circles around the event security/police all goddamn night. They could have chased him forever. They just ended it the easy way.

I think the police in Philly should hit the gym. That is embarassing.

The quote feature includes the username for a reason. Learn to quote, or just don't do it.

I find it easier to follow a thread when the name and the link taking you to the original post is still intact.
