Ya Man U wouldn't get a replacement unless he is a young guy cause VDS still has a few years left
There have been rumors of Buffon to Man City for awhile but that makes no sense, they have Shay Given and Joe Hart who are both at this time better than Buffon I think
Arsenal would never pay the transfer fee for him, and I wouldn't blame them
Chelsea makes sense, Peter Cech hasn't been very good this year
I was thinking that when I first read the article but I guess someone is saying that they might be looking for one.

That would be a major hurdle, how do you think he would command. I actually thought Cech is doing better than he was right after his injury. He may not be the pre-injury Cech but I think his form is returning.

Personally I can't see Buffon coming to England unless it's too Man City. None of the big clubs need him considering the money they'd have to spend to a) buy him and b) pay him - it wouldn't be worth it considering what they all currently have.
Given is fantastic but there is one HUGE problem with him - he isn't exotic enough for the new owners. They want big names - nothing else.

Well, since you guys have to draw tonight and clinch 4th this weekend or whenever you guys play next, I guess that means Buffon won't be coming to England. Without CL football they won't be able to attract those big names.
Anyway, time to talk about a decent footy club. Arsenal have already started to reinforce their squad:

Chamakh Ready For Arsenal Switch

Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh has confirmed he will join Arsenal at the end of the season and revealed he rejected offers from Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.
Chamakh, 26, is out of contract this summer and it has long been assumed he will move to Emirates Stadium, with Arsene Wenger saying last month that there was a "good chance" he would arrive.
"I am delighted to become part of the English football atmosphere," Chamakh told L'Equipe. "It is something amazing.

Chamakh is very good, thats a quality signing for Arsenal and its on a free transfer as well
no more Bendtnar missing 4-5 sitters a game
Chamakh should partner well with Van Persie, although it may take him a season to get used to the physicalness of the premier league when compared to ligue 1
Never really been a Premier League fan, more of a Serie A/Italian National Team guy, but after watching alot of Tottenham games this year I am starting to become a fan of the team.
Bale looks like he has the makings of a stud on the backend, Lennon is a great midfielder and always seems to be creating something, Crouch has always been an under-appreciated player, and the way they have fought through injuries near the end of the season is great.
Happy to see them make their way through to the Champions League over a team that was trying to buy their way in.
Now hopefully Arsenal will lose on the weekend and Tottenham will win giving them the automatic entry into the group stages.

Taking a yard when given an inch, you'd make a fine Sp*rs fan...
Nonetheless, Arsenal aren't really inspiring their fans with confidence at the moment. Personally, I'd like to see Mannone in goal on Sunday. If Charlton are somehow able to clinch auto-promo this weekend, I think I'd trade it to make sure the Gunnars get 3rd.

Careful what you wish for - supporting Tottenham isn't very healthy.
I have no belief whatsoever that Fulham can do anything but lay down on the weekend
they are focusing 100% on the Europa final next week and have been putting in 60% effort for the last month in the league
Let's hope so.. I know all the spurs fans here are hoping for a fulham win but i just hope them blackburn and stoke all lose and sunderland sneak into 10th place, although either way the performance of Darren Bent vs Jermaine "the invisible man" Defoe won't really matter when it comes to Capello's team decision, based on form of course...
Really glad that Spurs made it over the other Mancs. My boy, Crouchie, getting the winner too. Excellent!
I've never minded Tottenham actually. Perhaps, because I've enjoyed their tussles with Liverpool at Anfield over the years. It was always a good match regardless of the fact that Spurs had little to no success at Anfield. I have particularly fond memories of a title clinching victory over them in the early 80's. Hoddle scored a blinder in the first for Spurs before the Reds stormed back for a 3-1 win. Ah, back in the days when Liverpool were actually good.
Congrats to you Spurs fans on making the Champs league. Looks good on you.

Saw that before the match Harry said they were talking to his agent
fantastic news, everyone of their young players is signed through 2013 at least I think. Only one who I know is out of contract this year is Ledley but he isn't going anywhere and will re-sign
