What's with the other teams hitting the Hitmen from behind in these playoffs?

It's almost too bad he got thrown out of the game. It would have been nice if the Hitmen beat the crap out him to send a message to the Americans - we will crush you little people if you do that again.

Ugh. Powerplay not so good tonight. Score could be and should be worse.

Final, 4-1. Hitmen with another dominating performance. Only negative was the PP but the PK on the other hand was superb. 2 down, 2 to go.

I kind of hope they lose 1 road game so I can make it out to one final game here in Calgary. I won't complain if they sweep the series though...

My thoughts exactly, would be nice if they won it here. Thought the hitmen played a bit sloppy in their own zone, but still played way better than the Americans. Kozun made a great play on the 4th goal, man that guy is good.

I didn't really care about this game or series so don't have anything to say about it.
You were pretty vocal about how the Hitmen were going to lose, and how they have no talent, etc.

Thought you might want to come and eat some crow, but evidently not.

as for the series, hoping for a split in Kennewick so the boys can wrap it up on home ice and I can watch them one more time!

Pretty sure Jones is in their heads right now. They have to be wondering what it takes to score against the Hitmen. If not for Nyren leaving the zone before the puck was cleared, it could have been another shutout. OTOH, Owlsey is done for this series. Getting pulled in the first two games of the WHL final? Yeah, his confidence is shot. Pechurskiy looked really good last night though. It'll be interesting to see if we can get to him when he starts game 3.

Brutal cheap shot by Shinnimin on Kozun... The kid was almost in tears when the ref told him he was done for the night.

Where have I said that they have no talent? I have picked them to win every series except for the final so I don't see how I have been vocal at all, let alone pretty vocal about them losing.

The closest I can see to that is you trying to make up some issue about me being upset about the Hitmen winning. I have already stated my opinion on the Hitmen in this thread but you seem to want to ignore that and instead make up you BS.

If I have to eat crow for getting the last series wrong are others coming in to eat crow for all the series they got wrong?

Let him cry and enjoy his view from the press box for the next game when the Hitmen dominate them at home; that was a drity hit from behind when Kozun was facing the boards.

The Jr Jockey Junkies are once again taking over the Riverstone Pub on the SW corner of 14th Street and Northmount Drive NW. There is a room on the left side of the bar...that's where you can find everyone. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it for the start of the games because of school, but maybe the end of the games.

Both games (Tuesday and Wednesday) in Kennewick start at 8:00 our time.

Surprised they aren't going to Kennewick, myself.

And thanks, Wood!

The Memorial Cup picture looks to be taking shape. Windsor is up 3-1 on Barrie, and is looking good to take a 3-0 series lead. Meanwhile, Moncton is kicking the crap out of Saint John today - 9-2 - looking to take a 2-0 series lead in the "Q"MJHL.

It's amazing how much of a joke the Q is compared to the other two leagues.
