You are still getting tons of good exercise though so don't sweat it. Just make sure to stretch a lot this week and try and do the core synergistics twice.
Last week I found the mental side for me was the biggest issue. I don't know if it is the nice weather or what but I need to get back into the swing of things a bit more.

If you eat carbs before your workout take some complex Vitamin Bs to help break them down to be utilized by your body.
Thiamine(B1) is essential for the metabolism of carbs into glucose. Riboflavin(B2) and Pyridoxine(B6) help breakdown the carbs. Cyanocobalamin(B12) helps process the carbs.
This is why the 'smart' energy drinks have Vitamin B in them.

Rocked the Ab X last night, Tri-Shoulder-Chest night before....soccer tonight and then plyo after....it's getting addicting.

Bought the set of DVD's last week, and starting strong with the first five days of the schedule. The set I bought though didn't come with a set schedule nor the diet book, so I checked their website and nothing. Was able to find a schedule on the interwebz, and am going to follow it.
I'm not a real workout buff, but am looking to shed some body fat and tone things up a bit, anyone with recommendations? I noticed there are a slough of workouts that aren't incorporated in the schedule I'm following, like core and such, is this correct? I think I am doing the doubles one, or something similiar, not classic nor lean.
Thanks so much in advance, loving it so far, though it feels like I may be the fittest 28 year old to make his permanent home in a wheelchair, plyo is nuts.

You can find the schedule online like you said. You must have downloaded the DVD's because the box sets come with everything that you need.
Every type of workout (i.e. classic, doubles and lean) have a recovery week which incorporates the core dvd. Sounds like you might be doing the lean if you are doing core synerfistics in your first week.

What is everyone's plan for after the 90 day program is done?

No entirely sure. I was thinking of looking into P90X+. However, if I see good results from the first 90 days I may just try and do another 90. I am getting married in October on a beach and want to look my best.
I just counted and today is day 38 which has gone really quickly.

When they say Insanity they mean it! I never found P90x easy by any means but compared to Insanity, P90x is a walk in the park! From the ones I tried it was mainly body weight exercises with lots of up and down, side to side. It will seriously kick your butt!

HOOT is exactly right.
I just finished the first month of it and am currently in the recovery week. It's easily the toughest workout program I have ever done. P90x was definitely hard but insanity takes it to a new level IMO. Your heart rate will be up pretty much the whole workout. It's all exercises using your own body weight plus a TON of cardio.
I recommend it for sure. I like it because the workouts are between 30 and 40 minutes and it completely kicks your ass in that time. At the end of each workout I'm completely drenched in sweat. It's a great feeling.
And Shaun T isn't nearly as annoying as Tony Horton, which is a plus.

That would probablly make me use Insanity over P90... I can't find the time to fit in an hour and a half into my schedule as easy as it would be to slam in a quickie
(And the baby doesn't like Tony... she crys evertime I put him on!)

They will give you different results though. I think Insanity is more for toning and maybe shedding some extra pounds. Your core will get crazy strong doing it but you won't gain the kind of muscle you will with P90x.

Where did you guys get Insanity from? Just the website or is there a place in town I can get it?

Being a girl, bulk isn't really what I'm looking for...
Not my "cup-o-tea"...

There's a lean version of p90x that you can follow. You still need a time commitment though.

For a girl there's about 0 chance to bulk up no matter what she does, unless she goes down the steroid route.
Lots of girls are worried that if they hit the gym they'll bulk up, but I haven't heard of anyone who bulked up lifting pink 5 lbs dumbbells and eating Caesar's salad

How's everyone doing w/ P90x? I just finished Day 4 (Yoga). I underestimated both how difficult it would be, and just how inflexible I really am.
I live in an apartment building so I subbed Kenpo X in for Plyo on Day 2 (because of all of the jumping). Am I really selling myself short by not doing the Plyo, or is this an acceptable switch?
