My pleasure. I'm really happy to help. I've been getting my hockey news from some of you for the last 10 years or more, prior even to CP, since the days of the old usenet. In fact, it occurs to me this probably goes back almost TWO decades to when a bunch of other grad students and I wasted our educations with the old usenet hockey pool. But I digress, and suddenly feel very old!
A few months ago in the midst of some serious user complaining I was debating starting a thread with an "open question to Bingo" to ask him what we, as CP users, could do to help him, as this is a pretty fantastic service we've been getting for free all these years. It was around then that the server locked up a couple of times, and the answer became pretty apparent. Hopefully this new environment solves those problems and keeps up as CP grows.
By the way, through the process of moving the site I've had a chance to see just a fraction of what Photon does for CP on a daily basis, and I have to say that everyone should be in awe at the effort and quality he provides for all our benefit. So hats off to him and the whole CP team.
