Did anyone see 30 Rock on Thursday? Hilarious. The janitor "Khonani" was promised the 11:30 shift five years earlier. The solution was to give the current janitor a newly-created 10:00 shift. But that meant there was no garbage for Khonani to pick up at 11:30.

That is awesome.

I would imagine a Rogers owned station will be picking it up, they already have a business relationship with TBS through Baseball. HD is a given, no need to worry.
Too bad, I was hoping he'd go back to NY. He just seems to fit in with the vibe there better, he seems out of place in the whole Hollywood LA scene. I can't even imagine if he was in Atlanta, that'd be like doing the Jeff Foxworthy show from Seattle.

I think a big reason is looking out for his crew members. He doesn't want them to have to uproot their families again. There's also some talk that he might want to use the same studio as well.
That clip really makes Letterman look like the piece of trash that he is. What a classless POS.
I like both Jay and Conan and feel bad for both of them how it happened. Letterman has always and will always be a classless hack.
It's called comedy.
Jay has always had this competitive streak. Letterman WAS given the Tonight Show job as part of a verbal agreement. Leno's agent and lawyers talked one guy out of it and Leno broke into the NBC offices and hid in a closet and listened into the executive meeting on a tapped phone taking down notes on who was for him and who was against him so he could use it to his advantage later. That's the kind of guy Jay is.
Watch some old clips with Leno and Letterman, they used to be good buddies.
I just hate Letterman. Not quite as much as I hate that moron that is his band leader but I hate him quite a bit.
Oh and comedy is supposed to be funny. That just sounded like a petty loser who is still jealous he didn't get the Tonight Show...20 years after he was kicked to the curb.

Notice how much laughter there was? I guess it was funny. Letterman and Leno have been doing impressions of each other for ages and they are right on the money.
Letterman is a truely classy guy who adored Johnny Carson since he was a kid and held the Tonight Show in reverence. Carson returned the same respect and neither men had that respect for Leno.
What do you have against Letterman? I'm not saying that he's awesome, in fact Letterman's probably the least funniest guy out of all of them and needs to retire soon. His 'interviews' (aka interrogations) are a pain to watch.

Except any stand up will say that Leno is the hack. Dave is genius at what he does whether you like his style or not. There's nothing about Dave that says hack.

I just find Letterman to be irritating and obnoxious. I've always felt that way.
For full disclosure I'm a fan of both Leno and Conan so my hatred of Letterman has always been prevalent.
