Default CP Problem?

I keep getting this when I browse the forum or reply to a post.

When I click back and click the thread or whatever I was trying to visit again it works.

Started when I switched over to Opera.

I can't get a frickin' browser to work properly for me.

Firefox crashes, Chrome doesn't stay logged in, and Opera has this problem.

Netscape?

Yeah, but then I'd have to support Apple.

Sigh. This is almost cruel.

The internet is conspiring together to get me to eat my words and use an Apple product.

For the past 2 hours I was getting "Page cannot be displayed" in IE 8; and a similar message in Firefox: "The server at forum.calgarypuck.com is taking too long to respond......"

CP was really slow for me earlier using Firefox. That said, I'd rather die before using Safari.

I've been getting the same problem using Firefox and IE on two different Vista computers.

Just looked at the URL:

"&daysprune" ??

Photon - is it trying to prune the forum every time this link is used? That would certainly generate a lot of server/database activity...

There's no data for that parameter so it probably isn't trying to do anything, no one would have permissions to do that anyway.

Weird that the link would have that in it though, where did that URL come from I wonder.

No idea. I've tried pinning it down to a single thread or even a single forum but it does it all over the place for me.

Even on other forums which would indicate that it isn't a CP problem, but something else.
