At 12 I think the Eagles would be able to get Earl Thomas. The other thing is that if the Eagles were to get up to 12, it would give them the ammo to move up even further if they wanted Eric Berry.
The Eagles have 11 picks in this draft...they all won't make the football team. As Pat Kirwan just said on NFL radio...they should trade like 2 of them for next years picks, than use 4 of the remaining 9 picks to try and get the 5 best players they can.

what do you see lang projected as? Is he a guard, or is he a T?

Tackle...I just dont see him at the G long term.
As you say it all really depends on what shakes out ahead of them, and if all the guys they thought they could possibly grab at 23 are gone (which the closer i look seems less and less likely depending on their rankings obviuously), I see a definite trade down scenario which will drive most internet fans nuts, but what i think is very sound strategy.
Here is a question...if the corners and the OL guys are all gone at 23....but C.J. Spiller is there....take him or no?
On a personal note...if there is one guy that i hope they take, its Kyle Wilson out of Boise St (got him in 2 different mocks at that point as well..tho that means nothing). The more i see and read the more sold i am that he is the real deal.

Both I believe...the middle of their D got shredded at points last year...much like GB against AZ in the WC game.

Andy Reid will have that club back in contention in 2 years max with those kind of assets at his disposal. I wouldnt be surprised if that ^^ scenario is very much what transpires.
I will say this though...Philly is in for a long year this season IMO...just based on having, by far, the weakest QB spot in the division.
Cowherd did this thing a few weeks ago on the raduio....go through the final standings from every division last year and it is apparent that in every single one of them, the teams with the best QB finished first (sans one), and the team with the poorest QB play finished last. It was quite eye-opening if not expected.

I can't see them doing it. If they didn't go for McNabb they won't go for Roethlisberger. The real wildcard is that there isn't much of a history with the acting GM, Trent Baalke. No one knows how much of a gambler he is.
Other than quotes from Baalke who simply says, "We are comfortable with our QB situation" there really hasn't been much said. A few beat reporters have tweeted they don't get the sense of any interest in Ben at all.

If CJ is still there (doubtful as someone from the NFC west will take him) i think you have to take him. He gives you the big play ability as well as the change of pace from Grant.
I'm scared about taking the 5th or 6th rated OT at the end of the first round though. I feel like its a bit of a reach. I would prefer the #1 gaurd/c ie. Iupati or Pouncey or the #3 CB. Or the #2/3 OLB Kindle or the TCU guy.

tsn2 is the espn feed, nfl network is obviously there feed
supposedly the Browns have offered the rams
#7 overall, a 2nd,and 3 3rd's for #1 overall where they say they will take Bradford
I think the Rams would be stupid to turn that down, I like Clausen more than Bradford though. But even if they don't, wow thats a lot

Whoever gets Mike Iupati, they are getting a hell of a player and a really good guy. All the good things people say about his character are true.
