Man, sometimes this show is so lame. The Pirate vs. Knight Episode was flat out ######ed.

Don't know if anyone cares about Deadliest Warrior or not anymore, but in the middle of the Summer there is little else to watch TV wise.
First episode airs tomorrow on Spike. Here is the lineup for season 3.

Thought it would be stupid as all hell, but with Steve Niles & Max Brooks as the "experts" it could be pretty good.
I just hope the Zombie wins; don't really want a bunch of Twilight prissy vampires to take the battle.
Also happy that got rid of Max Geiger for another combat expert. Sorry, but some computer geek has no idea what would be the best weapons on the battlefield. That and he always annoyed the hell out of me.

This show is the only reason I'm sad I don't get Spike anymore. But Washington vs. Napoleon shows just how stupid the idea can be. Neither were warriors, but rather leaders. The entire thing will be deeply flawed (more so than usual), and there is no way on earth an American show fails to decide on Washington as the winner.
That said, I may just have to download the vampire vs. zombie episode.

As far as I know every episode will be on Spike's website a few days after the airing. I don't have Spike either, but I watched the majority of the episodes last year off of their website.
And yeah, a couple of the episodes are kind of lame, but they have pretty much run out of useable warriors by this point anyway.

The show is fun to watch to maybe learn about the weapons each "Warrior" would use, and just how damn gnarly they are. Whoever wins, and the over the top silly re-enactment is never what's entertaining for me.
I bet Napolean vs Washington will be fun to watch and see the respective era weapons in action. And the overly defensive "experts" always make me laugh.

I hope T.E. Lawrence can take down Roosevelt. Not necessarily because he is the better warrior, but it's my favorite movie of all time.
I agree with MMF, while I always root for someone to win in every episode, I usually just care about witnessing some of the weaponry they used for combat back in their heyday. Although I am still pretty jacked to this day when the Spartans took down the Samurai as the Deadliest Warrior of the pre-fire arm days.

Depending upon how zombie vs vampire goes, the sci fi/fantastical could very well be season 4.
Hobbit vs leprechaun
newton the centaur vs a harry potter centaur
nerd vs dork
etc

They had Sun Tzu and Vlad the Impaler as a match up before...neither were really warriors in their own right.
Nice to see brain dead Deadliest Arsenal back though. It's nice to put something silly like that on in the background just to have noise going. Silly show which is fun to watch fight scenes for.
