hell of a goal, another error by Almunia surprise surprise, and now Vermaelen's off - could be Spurs' day.. maybe Defoe will break out of his awful run of form

You got to think that Spurs eventually have to beat Arsenal. I'm shocked that they haven't beaten them in a top-level match since 1999. Everton has had decent results against the Reds and City have beaten United home and away recently. Rangers and Celtic trade victories in meaningful games. Liverpool - United have been competitive with each other over the past few years. But Spurs inability to get one over on their fiercest rivals over the past 11 years is truly mind-boggling.

From what I can tell this is a typical Arsenal performance - heaps of possession, little cutting edge. Spurs have taken what few chances they've had and scored one, which is all the difference.

Tale of the first half - Arsenal possession and resolute Spurs defending.

Not sure I'd feel that comfortable as of yet. As we all know, this club has a famous ability of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. If any team would choke this lead away, the smart money would be on Spurs doing it.

Fair enough. But in all reality, it probably is.

I enjoy winding up football fans of all types - not just Spurs, though recently I have found it necessary to do so.

haha fair enough

but I know its not over until the whistle

just look at the 4-4 draw last year, spurs scored twice in the last 3 minutes to tie it

I remember that. Very few Premiership games are memorable these days for the neutral and that one sure was.

Arsenal's class is starting to show. Or maybe it is all Van Persie's class?

jesus christ those 2 saves on RVP and one on Campbell.. oh and now Bendtner pulls one back for Arsenal, probably too little too late now though.. either way imagine if Arsenal had had Van Persie healthy all season

I wonder when Wenger is going to realize that cute little passes and heaps of possession do not translate into wins? Little physicality and almost no cutting edge. They are the weaker sister to Chelsea and Man U for sure.

Interesting that the crowd is refusing to return the ball back to the pitch. This must happen everywhere?
