Well if they would've played the entire game like they did the last 5 minutes it wouldn't have even been a game.

Easily Bunz's best game of the series. I will say this about him. I am impressed how positionally sound he is at 17 years old. The Tigers are good in shape for the next 2 years maybe 3.

The Hitmen got the 3-1 lead very early and then just quit. Their powerplays after that were terrible and they wasted plenty of opportunities to stretch out the lead. At the end of the game they were hitting, driving the net, and getting lots of scoring chances. In short, they were in the Tigers' zone the whole time. Play with that type of intensity for more than 10 minutes and this series would be over.

Not withstanding the fact that the Hitmen should have been on the PP for the last two minutes (for all the good the PP did us last night), they utterly f'ed up the final 30 seconds of that game. When the Tigers took the first crosschecking penalty, they should have given the puck to Medicine Hat immediately. Their own stupidity turned a 30 second six on four into a nine second six on four.
Brutal effort. Calgary let Medicine Hat back into that game and got what they deserved.
On the bright side, Saskatoon overcame Niemi's stupidity to even their series at two games apiece.

I loved/hated how one of the Hitmen (not sure who) was yelling and pointing to give the Tigers the puck. Out of the 6 guys on the ice he was probably the only one who knew what to do and he didn't get a chance to do it.

Just a reminder that game 6 is on Shaw tv starting at 6pm. Hitmen have chance #2 to eliminate the Tigers.

Just assumed it was going to be a 7:00 start. Oops. 1-1 after one.

Isherwood is such a coward. Apparently he only "fights" when the other player's back is turned or when the linesman is pinning the other guy.

Hitmen tie it up 2-2 late in the third to sen it to overtime. Bunz has been unreal.

This is the 4th straight year that the Hitmen have reached the Eastern Conference Final! That is unbelievable in junior hockey.

2 gifts for Foucault and the Hitmen are off to the east final. Now lets hope Saskatoon wins game 6 so those 2 teams can beat the crap out of each other some more before the winner faces the Hitmen.

Feel bad for Bunz. He made mistakes on both the tying and winning goals, but he was ridiculous tonight.

I've also heard a rumor that the Saddledome ice crew will have the Hitmen logo on the ice, replacing the Flaming C.

Brandon in all likelihood. They lead the Blades 3-2, though games 6 and 7 are in Saskatoon.
I'd rather Saskatoon won though. Brandon is pretty much the only team in the league that scares me as they are a ridiculously good team. There is also general feeling out east that the refs there want them to win.
