This is the key right here. We have 3 good/better than average hitters in Lind Hill and Wells, who's a wild card right now, might be great might be just above average. Then you have a few players that have mediocre averages, but will probably get 15-20 home runs in Encarnacion, Buck, Gonzalez, and Bautista. Then you have the who knows what you're going to get with Overbay and Snider. All the bench players either hit for incredibly bad averages, or are Ruiz.

They'd need to have at least two good/better than average hitters in the top group in order to make the homer/bad average group viable, and that would only made the jays offense adequate.

I think the jays might be in the top ten or so for ERA, and the fewest runs scored.

Unless certain players prove otherwise, I think this team will be around the 70-90 mark towards the end of the season, but with some things to look forward to in Wallace and any potential signings of decent hitters in the future.

Encarnacion just worked that ball.

Loving this season so far. It's easy to cheer for a team with nothing to lose, and absolutely no expectations.
