It's basically about a biker gang in small town California. Lots of shooting, girls and profanity. Don't want to go into too much detail, but check it out.
It's actually from FX in the States, so it doesn't go quite as far as it would if it were an HBO or Showtime show. For some reason, it airs on SuperChannel in Canada. I tried watching it a couple of weeks ago and just couldn't get into it, then I gave it another shot this weekend, and I'm liking it this time around.

Yes. Psych is great. As far as I know, it doesn't air anywhere in Canada. It's on USA Network in the States and hasn't been picked up by anyone in Canada, even though it's produced in Vancouver. I first caught it on Air Canada, where it was available on their in-flight entertainment system.

Burn Notice is another USA show that doesn't air in Canada. It's a little bit like the A-Team, except it's set in Miami and features the girl from the tango scene in Scent of Woman as a trigger-happy former IRA member who is frequently under-dressed. It also has Bruce Campbell.

Oscar-winning nakedness at that.

Dexter also has some nakedness, but True Blood's is better.

The fataing in Spartacus is shot exactly like 300. 2 second slow-mo shots of screwing.

With crappy sets so we know it's prop expense is low. This way, at least, we know the show will last. Anyone else see Lucy Lawless do the 2 second slow-mo shots of screwing? Oh ya Lucy!

Anyway, it's a great show and really thought out with some tasteful motion graphics throughout the show. Very well done.

It's always sunny in philadelphia. I really like this show. The first two seasons are good, but seasons 3, 4 and 5 are way better.

Boardwalk Empire is one I can't wait for... Produced by Scorsese... Starring Buscemi... Directed and Written by Sopranos veterans. It's going to be good.

Thank you for posting this. I has ZERO idea that this show was even coming. I'm not a big Steve Buscemi fan, but I love Scorsese. Also, Michael K Williams aka: Omar is in that trailer. So I can't wait.

I'm a "thanks-ist" so I just ran through the thread thanking posts I agreed with.

But you just pointed out the one series I would have posted about.
Very eagerly awaiting this series...
Starts in September, I think

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0979432/

Anything from AMC is great --- Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Prisoner, ...

Also, this summer AMC is premiering a new show called "Rubicon", again from one of The Sopranos' producer/directors (Allen Coulter). It stars James Badge Dale (Leckie from "The Pacific"; Jack Bauer's partner/Kim Bauer's CTU boyfriend in season 3 of "24"; one of the detectives in "The Departed")

Another one I patiently await (and it's not coming til early 2011) is Game of Thrones on HBO. I can't wait to see a HBO treatment of fantasy. It's based on A Song of Fire and Ice novels and stars Sean Bean. David Benioff is attached to write it, he's pretty hit or miss for me.

Edit: I never read the books, but the author said the pilot was very true to the novels.

Oh sweet. Anything with Sean Bean is awesome.

I couldn't really get into Dexter. It seemed slow and weird to me.

Leverage is alright, Burn Notice is awesome.

Really, you can't get into Dexter? I watched the first 5 episodes of season 1 last night and I am completely hooked. Incredible show!
