Anyone see this game-show? It's kind of entertaining. Some of these games remind of something you would do drinking.

Only seen the end of it as it's on before Celebrity Apprentice which I've been watching.

Just saw some of it for the first time tonight. That last game the girl lost on was straight up beer pong. I figured as a recently graduated College student that she would have killed it, too bad she just went rapid fire and had no chance.

Funny show though. Completely Ridiculous.

I will be surprised if this doesn't turn into a phenomenon for a season or two.

Although, judging by the difficulty of the million dollar game they previewed last week, I see a miniscule chance of anyone ever actually winning the jackpot.

It's a really fun show to sit around with the roommates and watch on a Sunday night though, not like there's ever much else going on until NFL starts up.

It's mindlessly entertaining in a good way, but I don't understand the choice of Guy Fiere as the host. I put up with him for the food porn on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives, but a gameshow host needs to be either likeable (like Bob Barker) or mean (like the British lady on The Weakest Link), and Fiere is neither.

Saw one episode of it and it struck me that there was an awful lot of sitting around talking about stuff as opposed to actually playing the game. It seemed like it would be much better as a half hour show, but that being said, I wasn't paying it my full attention, so I might be mistaken.

I'm surprised they're not being sued by Valve for stealing GLaDOS... (video game reference, for those of you missing out)

I can't imagine a scenario where I'd risk $500,000 on maybe getting an extra $500,000. Maybe if I still had all 3 of my "lives" left, but I bet all the $1M games are impossible.

that's about 12 more minutes of action in an hour episode than either Who wants to be a millionaire, or Deal or no Deal.

I was excited to watch it, but I was bored half way through and I was fast forwarding through all the fluff. Definitely can't beat hole in the wall.

Reason #1 I don't watch these prime time game shows. Why make them an hour long? I'd rather see two shows at half an hour, or one show and a re-run of something than sit through an hour of the host asking "Is that your final answer? Are you sure? Positive now? Well, let's go to commercial while you think about it."

Is it not painfully obvious why they do it? They have a particular prize budget, if they drag the show out, it not only builds interest in the contestant, but it also lowers their prize budget.

Of course it is. So painful that I don't bother watching. The "Why make them an hour long?" was rhetorical.
