Default Pure Pwnage

Is anyone watching this series on showcase? It's pretty funny plus it has a calgary connection. The originators of the series are from Calgary but now reside in Toronto.

Here's a description of the show from their website:

The only show on TV that doesn't lick balls.
Jeremy is a leet gamer, but he still lives in his mom’s basement. His n00b brother Kyle, an aspiring filmmaker, documents Jeremy’s life as he is forced to get off his a$$ and get a "real" job.
The Pure Pwnage web series has been spanking TV since 2004. Now that the show is an Internet phenomenon with millions of fans worldwide, it's time to pwn TV as well. Pure Pwnage on Showcase is the next step for this universe of uber gamers.

Its on friday nights and prior to coming to TV they had a huge web presence with hundreds of thousands of followers world wide. It's worth a watch.

I remember watching their show online a few years ago, is it still the same episodes or did they make new stuff?

That was where BOOOM HEADSHOT came from, that was well done.. the WOW one is pretty good as well.

The TV series is pretty much a reboot of the original web series and yes its all new content.

The BOOM HEADSHOT guy (fps doug) is my wifes cousin. Amazing the popularity he got from that one line.

I saw it the other night on showcase and thought it was histerical. A little far fetched obviously, but had alot of lines and idiosyncracies that a gamer can really have a laugh about.

The original online series is a separate story line from the Showcase one.

I have been a fan of them for a while and nice to see them get a TV contract. I just hope Dawei comes back! Big plus for the TV series compared to the online - they casted some very pretty girls!

Never seen it before, but the preview seemed pretty funny. The part where he's eating the sandwhich in the lunch room always makes me laugh. Probably check it out sometime.

Yeah Doug is killing it. The first scene from ep 3 when he's gaming at the mouse and pad and he has a huge boner is hilariously. I had to watch that a few times.

the show is great. Doug still resides in Calgary I recall an article in the Herald a few weeks before the first episode aired, it's all pretty sweet it's getting alot of exposure on Xbox Live, and they also had a night a few weeks back where you could challenge Jeremy to a game of NHL10.

Yes Doug still lives in Calgary, like I mentioned above he is my wife's cousin. Good for him to get a gig like this one.

Tell him that I have been his biggest fan for years, and I would worship him forever if he could send me a used kleenex or one of his nose hairs or something.

He changed my life when he explained how one could run faster while holding a knife.

Awesome. Had no idea they got a TV show!

I had the pleasure of interviewing Jeremy and Kyle a few years back... I was also in an episode of Pure Pwnage...

Really great guys to deal with.

What's the opposite of name dropping?

Is this the show? Count me out, that guy seems a little over the top and thus annoying.

Yeah he's a little over the to in the ep, but on the show it's a little more tame but funny as hell.
