Now what would really be interesting is if Drogba went down. Chelsea already have some substantial injuries, but losing that cheat would be huge to them. This season might just come down to who has the fewest key injuries.

So looks like Arsenal are done, according to football365.com, Arshavin is out for 2 weeks, Fabregas is out for 6 with a small fracture, and Gallas is out for the year.

Well, with Rooney out for a month this is Tottenham's time to shine!

Ya, those are some pretty substantial blows. I have no expectations of a title now, I just hope they don't completely fade down the stretch.

this is what we were talking about with them raising the expectations for a fall
Playing against Arsenal at home without Gallas, Cesc and Arshavin should be a win for Spurs. They would have the better team on the field and would be at home. Prediction 5-0 Arsenal

Although it seems like a succession of massive blows, when you really examine the situation it is not as bad as it first appears. The Gunnars have been functioning without Gallas for seven weeks and in those weeks they were able to get back into the title race. While Sol is a defensive liability and it sucks having to push Song back, losing Gallas might not be as massive as it looks. In regards to Arshavin, he's a bit like Zizou where we might miss him for 89 minutes but in that one minute we see him he wins the match. Unfortunately, he's been missing for 90 minutes plus lately while Nasri and Walcott have been heating up. In short, we've already been missing him so we might only see his absence when it comes to depth. Now, Fabs on the other hand... We're going to miss him, a lot!
Especially after seeing them come back last night, I can't write off the Arsenal yet.

Time for Walcott to shine even more, and time for Rosicky to get back to his form before his injury. It will be interesting to see how we fair down the stretch now. So close, yet the injuries keep piling up.

1-0 to the Blues. Looks like the Prawn Sandwich Brigade has little to cheer about at the moment. But that can all change with a little bit of brilliance from Rooney. Oh, wait... Forget it.

Big loss for United. Cue the excuses Fergie. Admittedly a draw would have been great as it would have 3 teams in the running for the title. Can't see Arsenal making up 3 points on Chelsea even if they beat Wolves today.
I'm sure this result will please CPs two resident Spurs fans immeasurably.

Yeah, that is something else.
The agony and ecstasy of being a Spurs fan. Well over the past 20 years it has been far more agony, me thinks.

Oh Spurs
Big win by Chelsea today and I think Manchester United is done without Rooney. He was simply carrying that team this season.

hahahaha could have been 7-1... spurs were absolutely terrible... Bent 2 goals, Defoe 2 missed chances, could have only been better if Bent got the hatty, thank god Gomes came to play

Wow. Bendtner deep into injury time. He may have saved their title ambitions single-handed.
Who'd a thunk it? Looked like Chelsea sewed up the title today. Might have to wait a few more weeks.
