That is one crazy windstorm coming through town. Icy too.
I had to bring in the patio furniture and secure the BBQ as it's blown over in the past. Stay careful if you're driving or even walking tonight!

I flew back from Victoria this afternoon (~4pm). May have been the worst turbulence I have ever had descending over the mountains coming into Calgary, definitely heavy turbulence with plenty of good wing drops up to 30 degrees a few times.
Yeah, it passed on by me last night with winds up to 100K. Often when this happens I lose my electricity and internet what with the trees falling, but this time it was okay.Whenever a storm goes through (facing Georgia Straight) here, it's just a matter of time till it reaches you.
Interesting, it was ridiculous windy and hailing here in Vancouver as well. There's this one tree by my window that was flailing like crazy. I thought it was going to snap in half.
Lethbridge has been brutal. For the past two days being outside has been like standing in front of a sand blaster.
