lol. An ignored penalty finally helped us. Beach gets checked to the head from behind, but Calgary scores anyway after it was ignored.

...And they score. Figures.

If you are listening how do you know they are bad calls?

The reffing was pretty fair. Both goalie int. were valid and the hitmen got away with a third. I was getting bugged by my kid during the one which the warriors might have gotten away with.
Stop blaming the refs, the game went to the better team tonight. Actually, you can pin two or three weak goals on Bosch. He was less than stellar. The 5th goal was the killer, Moose Jaw was back in it til that weak little backhand went through the 5 hole.

Other than game one, every game has ultimately gone to the better team, but that doesn't change the fact that the officiating has been garbage this series.

Medicine Hat won tonight, taking the series from Kootenay in 6 games. If the Hitmen do manage to win game 7 against the Warriors, this would be the preferable 2nd round matchup - Kootenay gave them fits several times this year.

Just a heads up, if you are not able or deciding not to go to game 7 tomorrow night, Shaw has decided to show the game starting at 7.

Game 4 was funny, the first period the ref let both sides get away with stuff, then decided to clamp down in the 2nd but the pp opportunities were pretty even, and Cal couldn't capitalize.
Game 6 was fine. A couple missed calls either way but what was called was fair and hurt MJ more than Cal.
I'm not arguing that the reffing is good, just that you keep whining that it's the reason Cal is losing games and that is not the case.
See you later Jesse834........

What part of "other than game one..." are you struggling to understand?
And no, calling one team for goalie interference, and rewarding the other for doing the same is hardly fair. Nor is ignoring checking from behind, twice.

I havent watched a minute of Hitmen hockey this season so obviously none in the playoffs either.
But I am curious as to why the WHL would want Moose Jaw to win over Calgary. Would there not be a TON more money put into the WHL coffers if the Saddledome was hosting games into late April rather than the ol Moose Jaw arena that sits less than 4000?

Moose Jaw playing some mighty dirty hockey so far. Three blatant checks from behind, and that minor should have been a major. Brutal hit.
Warriors just can't keep up to Calgary so far. If not for Bosch, we probably have five instead of three.

So we play Medicine Hat and Saskatoon gets Brandon. Saskatoon gets to host the first two games against Brandon, The Royal Manitoba Winter Fair is on from the March 29th- April 3th. It becomes a 2-3-1-1 series.
