wow there are a lot of UK haters here. My husband is a Kentucky alumni..on his way home from watching the game....they had so much potential this year. I just talked tohim and he said that he's not as crushed as he thought he would be, becaue given that they didnt make the tourney last year, making it to the elite 8 was a great feeling What a turnaround season.
And why are you guys hating on Coach Cal? he doesnt buy people off...guys just know a good program when they see one.
The Cats have big hearts. When the disaster in haiti occured, they got together and raised 1 million dollars by themselves to donate. now remember, they are just college dude, they dont get paid for their play.

I don't hate Kentucky so much as I hate one and done guys and cheating coaches.
Calipari seems like a nice guy but considering what happened at UMass and Memphis while he was there I am not sure how anyone can defend him.]
He cheats and then leaves. That is what he does. No reason to think he will be any different in Kentucky especially when you see the kind of players he brought in this year.

After Kansas lost and there was no chance of a Self vs Cal rematch then I would not rather have any other team lose than Kentucky. I don't have anything against the UK program as a whole, but I hate players who don't have any intention of staying in college for over year before leaving... I'd rather have them pull a Jennings and play in Europe than just do a one and done.
Also my favourite team in this tournament is WVU and I quite hope they win it all. It was a sweet mixture of please win vs. please lose today. It left me satisfied to say the least.
Thirdly, what is the justification for the age limit for entering the NBA draft?

That's the best play they could come up with with 1.6 seconds to go?

They had a timeout so IMO they should've passed it to half and then called a timeout, then just go for a standard 3. It adds another level of risk but I think overall that it's the best choice.
The play doesn't look as bad if Prince doesn't fumble the ball.

If I didn't know who these teams were, had no names and just teams in white and green jerseys, I'd think the guys in green would win by 20! They look bigger, stronger and more skilled.

To be fair to Oilersbaby I don't think she follows college b-ball at all and only supports kentucky because her husband is an alum, so she likely has no idea about Calipari's history.

Baylor will be kicking themselves for losing this. A brutal 2nd half.
Duke with 22 offensive rebounds in the game.

Awesome finish. Great to see a mid major get to the final...now can they finish it off?
I will be cheering for them regardless of who they play myself.

Congrats to the #5 seeded Butler Bulldogs!
They beat Michigan State 52-50 to make it to the championship game on Monday Night against either West Virginia or Duke.

Perhaps I don't understand the intricacies of basketball or don't appreciate good defense, but I thought for a National Semifinal that game was garbage.

Duke beats West Virginia to make it to the championship game.
(1) Duke vs (5) Butler on Monday @ 7 pm MST for the national championship. Duke will win by 18 IMO.
Congrats to both teams. I might start to tune in more during the season (I only watch March Madness) from now on. We'll see.
