This made me laugh. There's a really good donair shop called My Sub (apparantly it's a franchise with 2 or 3 locations in Calgary) just off 11st and 46ave SE and the guy there calls everyone boss. "Hey boss, how's it goin' today my man. What can i get you boss?"

Everyone I work with (all Arab guys) call every customer boss, but I refuse. Sorry, but I am the boss. Literally.
What is everyone's opinion on Opa! ? I like them for the sole reason I can't find (or too lazy) to go to a proper place. I think there Tzatziki sauce is quite good.

Opa's Tzatziki is too salty. Having said that, fast food Greek is simply awesome.

I think jimmy's (A&A) is the best i've had. They're better now that they don't screw around so much when they make you're food. they still don't listen very well though when i ask for just a little bit of that sweet sauce.

Whats the best place in the NW, like by Panorama/Harvest Hills/Hidden Valley/Sandstone/Coventry ? I can't find anything good that is near me.
I want a proper, off the rotisserie kebab.

Hahahaha Sam's awesome.
"Hello, my friend. How are you today, my friend? What would you like, my friend? Mixed Shawarma? Mixed? Mixed?! MIXED?!?"
Very good Shawarma's, though maybe a tad expensive. The Shawarma King down the road on Kensington and 14th I know was hit with a few health violations a few years back. Forced them to microwave their meat before serving it which certainly didn't improve the quality.
They're okay now (no more microwaving), but Shawarma Station where Sam works is much better.

The new location was across 7th Ave from the crack Mac's. It became a Persian restaurant I believe before closing to make way for the Tim Horton's that is there now. Not sure if it reopened again elsewhere.

Went to Shawarma Station a couple weeks back. Pretty decent taste, but yeah it was quite pricey.

I have been hitting McKnight Grill and Shuwarma twice a week since they re opened. Right across (south) from the Tim hos on 12th street and McKnight (or whatever street the tim hos is). Best shuwarma I have had in a while. All the pickled fixings you like, banana peppers, garlic spread, sweet sauce, hot sauce. And he grills the shuwarma on a panini press - so very delicious.

x2
Having lived in Ottawa before Calgary, it was hard to find a replacement for Shawarma King on Bank Street. But Pita Express comes close.
Chicken Shawarma with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickled cabbage and double garlic sauce. mmm
Though the quality of this place can be questionable at times.

Seniore's Pizza?
Or somewhere else? There is a place on Edmonton Trail by McKnight called "Mo's", but I haven't gone there and apparently the owner is an a-hole.
