I still remember the day I heard Born to Kill by the Matthew Good Band. I was at a red light in front of the Macdonalds by the Northland Mall. I'd been listening to the album a few times but all of a sudden this orchestra part near the end really resonated with me. To this day it remains my favorite song. Here's an ... umm ... interesting fan video.

+1 for Born to Kill. When I bought the "Beautiful Midnight" album, the first time I listened to it I had it cranked and when this song ended I thought I had blown my speakers.
Matt Good has put out a few real show stoppers. "Weapon" was one that really jumped out at me as well - brilliant video too.
