Anyone else sick?
I've had a nagging cold for almost 3 weeks, and a bunch of coworkers/friends have had the same. Longest cold of my life and I'm actually considering doing the unthinkable and going to see a doctor *GASP*.
Anyone else been sick for a while?

My wife has been sick for over 2 weeks now - luckily I seem to be immune. It's the sickest I have seen her, the first week she had a brutal cold and kept running a fever, this week at least the fever is gone, but she still has a nasty cold

Mine finally went away but lasted for weeks.... I never get sick for more than a week and almost always the same regular pattern: sore throat 2 days, cold for 2-3 more days, a few more days of sniffles.
This time it was sore throat for almost a week. Then cold for a few days. Then more sore throat. Finally cold for almost a week. I also had a bump about the size of a pea behind my ear. That freaked me out.

Yep, nagging cough for about 3 weeks now. 2 weeks ago had some sinus issues, but now it's just the cough. A buddy at work warned me 2 weeks ago that it lasted on him for about 3 weeks.
Went to see the doctor yesterday, he told me it was just a cold and not to worry.

I had one of the worst colds of my life for about 2 weeks shortly after the Olympics ended. I always get bad (BAD) coughs but even this was over the top for me. Could barely talk between the cough and the sore throat. I was breathing with a wheeze for the first few days. My sinuses were so bad I wanted to put a bullet in my brain to stop the pain. Dizziness, constant headache. And mild stomach problems to boot.
No infection though, so I didn't go to the doctor, just toughed it out. The first few days with the sinus problems were the worst. Serious pain I tell ya.
Oh, and my mouth was all itchy and sore. Like an allergic reaction or something.

I've had a sore throat for about 10 days. Other cold like symptoms come and go.

This is crazy to me, month long colds? WTF? I've had some chest/nasal problems for the last week but to imagine that it'll prolong itself for the rest of the month is madness. This simply cannot stand. I will not spend 8.33% of my year wanting to complain.
Optimism and Echinacia + Garlic. That's my cure all.

yup, about three weeks for me. First week was terrible, flu symptoms and coughing, second week no flu symptoms but still had the cough, third week and the cough is still there with constant sinus pains. I hate going to the doctors but I'm finally considering it.
