**note** My account is by no means complete and I paraphrased a lot of stuff and left out a considerable amount. I think I quoted one or two things that I'm pretty sure Ann actually said but other than that don't take this as Gospel. And sorry for the broken English. This took me like 30 minutes to type up.

Ok, because Coulter sucked so bad I won't go into too much detail. Basically, other than the protesters, nothing interesting happened the entire evening.

Didn't get to ask a question, they cut the line off @ about 930pm.

Saw a protester sign that said "Giving Coulter a bigger venue and better security is akin to giving a pedophile viagra and the keys to a daycare."

Thought that was pretty funny. Other people had flags that said "welcome Ann" and had nazi flags on them. One said something like "Witches should use brooms" and made reference to Coulter.

Ann was more of a comedian than a political speaker or pundit. I guess I shouldn't have expected much. I've never even bothered to read any of that crap she writes. I have seen her on Fox and from CBC saying she thought Canada was in Vietnam.

She started off with a bunch of jokes. A common theme for the night. Everything was ra ra and had a punchline that bashed liberals/Democrats. She didn't say anything of substance the entire evening. John Stewart is infinitely more knowledgeable about politics.

She said political correctness was about power. Guess who she said used it to try and hurt the Republicans? That's right. The left. Oh and the media.

Then Ann talked about race. Once again she mentioned that the media and the left, basically one in the same, were trying to vilify Republicans about racial comments but when Democrats said stupid things the media dismissed it. She mentioned Harry Reid's negro comments and then made a joke about Hilary being able to do a good negro dialect. (or something to that effect, my notes aren't perfect)

This is where I first noticed she was a comedian not a speaker.

Then she went on about double standards between liberals and conservatives. Only conservatives held accountable for using unPC words. Sexual harassment double standards also mentioned. Feminists stood by while Clinton dropped his pants in front of young women and said "kiss it". More jokes...

Roman Polanski. liberal. Drugged and raped a 13yo girl. Media and liberals downplayed it and he won an oscar.

David Letterman. liberal. Had sex with young women he worked with. Media and liberals let him get away with it.

In neither case it had anything to do with them being famous. Right, Ann? Just like the hundreds if not thousands of rich/famous people that get away with stuff.

Gay marriage. Dems actually support it because they're actually closet gays. (paraphrasing, she made a bunch of jokes) Said something about how gays want same rights as everyone else. That they have civil union and want marriage. The whole argument was about the word marriage. She said the gay rights movement is nothing like the civil rights movement of the 60s. Then made a joke about how blacks had other rights taken away and were always in shackles. Gays on the other hand weren't in shackles. At least not forcibly! Ba-zing! Good one Ann! You're so smart!

She doesn't think gays are being denied any civil rights. The only profiling they get is when it comes to fashion. Ba-zing! Another good one Ann!

Then she made a joke about John Edwards. Something about how the marriage issue is like his mistress issue.

Illegal immigration was next. Conservatives called bigots for not wanting illegals. Mexico is really harsh with Guatamalan illegals so that makes them bigots. Why would the US let in bigots? American's wait in hospitals while illegals get treated.

Media won't say anything about Obama b/c he's black. Something about how the media are like government lapdogs. More jokes. Media backs Obama no matter how much public opposition. Any opp. is perceived as racism. Liberals accuse opposition as racist.


That's all I wrote down for the speech. It sucked so bad. She's like a Colbert or Stewart for the far, far right. But she's not smart. Only kind of funny.

I'll type some of what I have for the Q & A but it was largely a dud. Ann avoided all the questions and none of them were really tough. That isn't to say that people didn't try but she'd either just avoid the question or tell them that their question was stupid. Some of the people though just had crappy questions. No one really challanged her.

I was in line to ask a question but they shut it down because the Q & A was over. I was going to ask Captain's Q about final troop w/d from Iraq.

Q: Something about the economy...
A: Obama administration hikes taxes, joke about 16k new jobs for the IRS b/c of Health Care.

Q: Something about diversity and how Ann has said in the past she thinks its bad. I think he mentioned that Ezra Levant (opening speaker) said it was good. I think. Might be thinking of the free speech Qs.

A: Diversity bad. Said there was no diversity in Canada. We were "as diverse as Iowa" and that she loved it. Mentioned countries that aren't homogeneous and said they have trouble, then mentioned Japan as being homegeneous and having no problems.

US is dealing with diversity but still bad.

Q: Something about Stelmach being an idiot and not right wing enough.

A: Something about how progressives are actually communists. Seriously, she made the link.

Then another question, something about free sppech and defamation. Ann said she like the UK system.

Q: something about the Jesus is Muslim thing at the U of C. They put up signs that said that. It was for Muslim awareness at the U of C.

A: If you don't think Jesus was the son of god then you think he must have been a lunatic. Then something about how they chop each other's heads off.

Christianity and Islam very different.

Q: Double standards in the media. Obama and Palin. The guy actually mentioned the palm thing and asked why Palin got is so easy. LAME.

A: Nothing to see here folks. Ann tore the guy a new one. +1 for Coulter.


Not sure what the question was but something about she's just a pundit and isn't accountable. The government is accountable and we should criticize them with our free speech.

Oh. Last part that I wrote down on my note pad might be the best.

Q: Someone asked about intelligent design.

A: Evolution is crap. It isn't true. It is a crazy theory. That the pro-evolution people don't want to argue because they have nothing but a crazy theory.

ID - famous/great scientists, including one of the co-discoverers of DNA, have denounced evo and say it is a crock.

Q: Don't ask don't tell.

A: Some idiot in the back started chirping at the girl asking the question so I told him to shut up.

Ann said it is a good policy. Something about how it would be gay if they were on a boat together for too long.


Overall the evening TOTALLY SUCKED. It was boring and uninformative. She didn't say anything inflammatory. At least nothing that incensed me. Yeah, it sucked. A total waste of my time. That woman knows nothing and is a total idiot.
