Those cakes look awesome, but it's important to know that when you see a cake that looks like that it's almost always not covered in icing, but a substance called "rolled fondant". Fondant is great for making beautiful, artistic cakes - it's usually what covers a wedding cake and all those amazing cakes you see on TV, but it tastes like foot wrapped in cardboard.

I believe the Cake Boss calls it "faaaaaaaaan-daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan" (say it like your half paralyzed - or from Jersey - same thing.

JFC.
Consider it temporary. Plus cake dude is going to be upset we're hijacking his thread. His GF put a ton of work into that cake and it was sweet of her to do so. Kind of a bummer we keep talking about avatars.
