Calgary psychiatrist charged with sexual assault

Aubrey LEVIN, 71, of Calgary, has been charged with one count of sexual assault. LEVIN was arrested earlier today, Tuesday, March 23, 2010.
The Service has been working closely with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta. On Friday, at approximately 5:30 p.m., LEVIN was served with Notice of Suspension under Section 65(1) (b) of the Health Professions Act. LEVIN may not perform any medical services while suspended.

Under the context and considering past history of the doctor my guess would be that it was probably a form of 'treatment' that involved a sensitive area, that the victim was convinced to take.

I thought it was interesting none of the stuff Black Archer mentioend was brought up in the Herald Article, so I emailed a link to his post to to the writers of the article, maybe they'll pickup this wierd-ass angle...
