Not a student deal, but Costco has good cineplex gift certificates. Includes drink/popcorn, etc.
If you're up for a drive (depends where you are in the city) the Cochrane theatre is really cheap. About $8 per ticket, but they have 10 movie ticket packs for $30, IIRC. You've got 3 months to use them.
On the other hand, wouldn't it have been quicker to call a theatre?

Student discounts as in I need my Student Card right?
Is this only Tuesdays, or everyday? Because this is quite sweet if it is all days.

Tuesday's are "Telus Tuesdays" at Cineplex theaters, for anyone. Cheaper tickets or ticket+popcorn+pop for the price of a normal ticket, or something along those lines.
No need for student ID for that.

The student deal is everyday as long as you have your ID. They suspend it during Christmas though. But then it's back on when school starts again.

If you don't need ID, I'm totally a student too (shifty eyes).

Why are you concerned about movies? Shouldn't you be studying?

Empire 16 checks student id's to see if they are stil valid. There is a sticker on the back of the ID that shows the expiration date or something.

If you are an AMA member you can get a deal at the office to buy movie tickets there for around 7-8 bucks a ticket.

All three independent theaters: Globe, Uptown, and Plaza have student discounts.
They also have discounts for other groups, but you'll have to check with the specific theater as to which ones.
