Goalie Needed for Superleagues Spring 2010 Season
Hey, if anyone is interested, my team is looking for a goalie for the spring (may-july) season. It's floor hockey, on full rinks (goalies still need full gear). Details can be found here: Spring Season
We're going to be in one of the lower divisions - but after playing in the spring season last year, it's still very competitive. PM me if interested, a few other CP guys are also playing.
Update: We've got a goalie. Thanks all.

No street hockey grade equipment or cats-eye (non-CSA) goalie masks will be permitted

They are seriously strict about CSA approved equipment. If you don't have the proper equipment you either sit or find replacement gear.
Cats-Eye is the NHL style goalie mask with the larger gaps.

I play in it, it's pretty good but the reffing can be quite horrid and the setup and structure could be better

I played in Div D before as player and back-up tender, they are definitely strict on goaltender equipment. They wouldn't let me wear my cat-eyes (so I had to wear one of the players full cage helmets), and gave me a warning because my goalie jersey didn't match the team's jersey... fun league, although it gets pretty rough sometimes

Another rule in Superleagues is that all refs are required to wear blinders over their eyes.

I know exactly what you guys are talking about, I made a joke once while other players laughed and I got 2 minutes for unsportsmanlike as well as 10 minute misconduct.

Probably ending up looking for a Full time Spring/Summer team this year,
If you need a Eric Nystrom type player give me a PM.

Bump,
After the pre-spring tournament, my old team had way to many players and they seem to be going a different direction.
