That seems to be about as cheap as there is for the upcoming year at the moment. There's some dates for $336 after tax on WestJet (May 4-11) so maybe you could get it down even further with the 15% code ?
Overall though, that price range seems to be the lowest available for that route.

Do you think it'll go down towards the end of next month?
Provided I entered the codes in properly that's what I got with both the coupon and promo codes

I need to come up with some sort of standard response I can copy/paste whenever people ask me to predict future fare prices.

Big sale up with Westjet - 50 - 70% off their flights. The ususal travel day restrictions apply.

Hi GKDarts,
It looks to me if you did July 1-16 or July 1-19 you would get better prices and flights. $590 after tax on Continental being the cheapest, with 18 hours of total travel time there and back.
For flights that come back on 17/18, the cheapest is July 1-18 for $629 after tax on American Airlines. Has absolutely terrible layovers in Dallas though (15 hours!)
You have to go up to the $760 level to get a decent flight, using Mexicana Airlines, July 1-18. Avoids the U.S. though (direct to Mexico City and then to Cancun). About 18 hours of total travel time, similar to the good Continental flights.

Hi spiteface,
For flights alone, $618 after tax is the cheapest (yikes). That's using Delta down and Air Canada back up. Blame Easter for that one I guess.
The cheapest package deals start at $950/person! (Orbitz).
I'd pick other dates if possible.

Since I'm not getting anything besides Ducay trolling in my other thread, I have to ask here -
Cmyden: Can you recommend a travel agent ( I know, for shame) for destination wedding planning?

I find that the '50-70% off' sales from WestJet and AC are usually not that exciting. I guess it's good marketing to show people the 'one way before tax' price, but once you get to the total, the prices are usually what you would find at any other time.
For today's 'sale', the Air Canada flights to LAX and San Francisco are the closest thing to a good deal. For WestJet, the San Francisco, LAX, and San Diego flights.
It's weird, the best deals given by Air Canada and WestJet are the ones they don't tell anyone about. You would think a $200 flight from Kelowna to Cabo, Cancun, or Puerto Vallarta (round trip after tax!) would be more exciting than a $250 flight to Edmonton.

Amorak, sorry, I'm not really involved in the travel biz in any way other than being obsessed with finding deals. I don't really know any travel agents (assuming they still exist) or travel wedding planners.
Maybe this list can help:

thank you for your response. i have been looking furiously for a cheap flight there as i need to go that weekend for a stag. how did you find 615 tax included? on delta the cheapest flight to vegas on apr 2 is $418 and on air canada the cheapest flight to calgary on apr 4 is 442 (adding up to $460 after tax). if you can direct me in the direction of the flight total $618 after tax i would appreciate it (and most likely book it!). thanks once more you are very kind.

Hmmm, that's weird, it's not showing up right now, I swear it was there this morning! It was on Kayak, here's the screenshot of the 'fare calendar' to prove I'm not crazy...
Can see it right there for $610 after tax.
Right now it's saying the cheapest is $835 after tax on Air Canada.
I'd maybe wait a day or so and see if it comes back.

Well I'm excited. I was able to book a trip to LA at the end of April for 4 days staying at the W in Hollywood for 1050 for 2 people!
Not bad at all.

Hi Cactus,
The cheapest is $475 after tax into Newark. That's using United to get there (direct) and US Airways back (stopover in Phoenix for an hour)
LGA is $800+. JFK is $737.
May 2-7 is still available for $262 !
